New & Memorable Characters

Square Enix has brought back some new and old characters: Those from our favorite games;

those who we love from our favorite childhood Disney movies and those who just have to return again because we just

can’t get enough of them.In the Traverse Town world, Rhyme; Shiki; Beat and Joshua who are also from The World Ends with you, will be joining Neku in The game. New characters in the game will also include the priest villain, Lord Frollo; Esmeralda’s lover, Pheobus and our comedic gargoyles, Laverne, Hugo and Victor from The Hunchback of Notre Dame to join Quasimodo and Esmeralda. Tron would also come back but he would be in his dark, alternate form as Rinzler from Tron: Legacy. Also, the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio and the Beagle Boys from Disney’s The Three Musketeers will also make their appearance.
For the returning cast, Maleficent will storm in once again but this time, hinting about Xehanort and the seven pure worlds of

light

and the seven Princesses of Hearts at Disney Castle. Mickey, Donald and Goofy will also be coming back but the surprising

part is

them also appearing in a new world, The Country of the Musketeers.

Queen Minnie and Pete, Maleficent henchmen, will also be there Daisy Duck will also come back at Disney Castle.
Jiminy Cricket and Pinocchio will star in the game with Geppeto and Monstro.

Yen Sid will appear, narrating on what had happened to the worlds that did not end up completely saved and instead

went into a sleeping state, making the darkness that enters the worlds that are sleeping become Dream Eaters instead of Heartless.
As an added bonus, Ansem’s apprentices will be coming back: Even, Braig, Aeleus, and Ienzo. For the big part, Lea will also be coming back as he saves Mickey and his gang from Maleficent’s attack at Disney Castle.

The dazzling but shocking part would be the incarnations of Master Xehanort: Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, Xemnas,

and the young version of Master Xehanort himself. Vanitus will appear alongside the young Master Xehanort.
There will also be more versions of the Dream Eaters such as the Goat Horn, the Frog Chef, the evil Ice Penguin and the

ferocious Gorilla!!

New Worlds to Explore

In addition to La Cite des Noche, Prankster’s Paradise that consists of the Pinocchio casts

and The Country of the Musketeers world that consists of Mickey and other Disney characters

will be added.
Tron’s/Rinzler’s world will also appear along with Traverse Town, Radiant Garden,

Disney Castle, the Keyblade Graveyard and Destiny Island.
In Japan, Kingdom Hearts 3D will be released there in March of 2012. All of North America and Europe will receive the release following after that date.

Before on the site, we wrote a preview for Final Fantasy Type-O and were awaiting the PSP spinoff with great anticipation but was it meant to come to North America alongside a European release as well? The answer is thankfully, yes. In an interview with vandel.net, mainly discerning Final Fantasy XIII-2, Yoshiniri Kotose (the producer of the game) told the fans that a localization of Final Fantasy Type-0 for Europe and North America is in the works and more information will be disclaimed later.  If you haven’t already, check out the PSP demo of Final Fantasy Type-0 on the Japanese PlayStation Store.

Famitsu have revealed Pinocchio’s world to be in Dream Drop Distance.  In the picture below, we see Pinocchio in a cell, lying as his nose grows. Knowing that Dream Drop Distance is a follow up to Kingdom Hearts 2, we know this will not be an origin story based on Jiminy Cricket and the puppet’s relationship. It is a follow up to what happened in Kingdom Hearts 2 in the world of Monstro. What worlds do you think will be revealed next? I believe it will be Chicken Little because he appeared as a summon for Kingdom Hearts 2. Which world do you want to see in Dream Drop Distance?

There is finally some news! Musical Notes news that is! Composer Takeharu Ishimoto;  also will be assisting in creating and instilling the sound and piece in Final Fantasy Type Zero; will be working on Kingdom Hearts: 3D with “It’s A Wonderful” from the game “The World Ends With You” alongside composer Yoko Shimomura. Besides working on the music with Kingdom Hearts 3D, he is also working on the soundtrack for Final Fantasy Type Zero called “Zero Expression FF”. There will be coming out with a Limited Edition with a booklet, a DVD, and the CD will come in a Limited Edition 3-disc version.

Hang in there Kingdom hearts and Final Fantasy fans. It seems as though we will receive double our trouble just for waiting.

Looks like FFXIII-2 will become more famous now than ever since the company are actually serving their purpose in making the sequel overcome the weaknesses of its predecessor. In the past month, Square Enix has been evolving in their newest creation so it is best if I give you the breakdown of the details.

The Editions

As the name suggests, the company will be hitting this game globally throughout the country. There are three editions: The Nordic (For countries such as Finland); Crystal Edition; Limited Collector’s Edition. The Nordic Edition will include four down-loadable prizes; Alternate suits for the two main heroes; a unique weapon for Noel; a sneak peek at game-play effects and there is one more mind blowing surprise that will catch the attentions of the Nordic citizens. Omega, the famous boss that has been fought throughout the Final Fantasy series will be added but there is a deal: Beat him and he will join your group. No better deal than that; all players better hope that they can train up to survive and endure the incredible blow of such a monstrous force. This edition will be released in February of next year.

The Limited Collector’s Edition will carry an artwork book that shows all artists how FFXIII-2 has been designed, an orchestrated CD that contains many numbers of selections from the game, postcards and a large HD Art print of the woman, Lightning. The Crystal Edition contains the Limited Collector’s entire Edition but instead, will have a CD that contains all of the music from the game and a T-Shirt! The United States is not left out in the race for the game. If anyone pre-order the game at either GameStop, Best Buy, or Amazon, the player will have a chance to either have (In relation to which store you bought the game from) a dress for Sarah; fight Omega; a book in the sequel of FFXIII-2. The game will be released in North America in January of next year.

Since Kitatse and Yoshinori brought the excitement of releasing out the facts about the motivation of exploration, a new battle system that has been evolving ever since the original battle design has been traced back to when the idea was first used in FFX-2, and the option of playing the game again and again that also had the idea from FFX-2; also can be known as a “New Game+”, the two along with the company also stated that Charice of Warner Bros. In the ten months, the company was able to add in as much as they can and they are expecting the un-billed period of the ongoing update that they are doing for the online version to end somewhere between this November or late December.

If you are interested in what the game will bring in the new version, expect a new theme to the storyline on Eorzea; a second free trial period; the team becoming now the “Final Fantasy XIV” team; bringing in information on the road maps. Many players can also expect new graphics, a server system for better speed, enhancement and performance; a new ui system, and the reboot of a new player community system. Also, the 1.0 version will be a “prequel” to the 2.0 version. If you are truly a Final Fantasy player, then you should go and play FFXIV to the core and expect more surprises and gifts that the company has for all to enjoy at a smooth place.

From the TGS 2011 event, tons of new gameplay videos have been uploaded to the net. Gamespot, on YouTube and their website, have showed off Riku’s story in the Hunchback of Notre Dame level. In addition, KH13 have uploaded Sora’s story in Traverse Town along with a few cutscenes featuring Neku from the The World Ends With You series. This video has subtitles! Both of these gameplay videos show that Riku and Sora have stepped up in terms of skills and abilities. Also as a party, it seems like you can adopt some enemies and place them in your squad much like the Dragon Quest games. Pretty cool! Oh and also Sora has a new costume, thanks to Yen Sid.

And the production of SE is still rolling! While you are still sitting in front of your game system playing a memorable game after learning about the Tokyo 2011 Event and knowing more about Kingdom Hearts 3D, there are some other games that the company will be racing to finish releasing and developing just for all of you. Lord of the Apocalypse, Army Corps of Hell, and Emperor Saga are undergoing tests in order to be release. Lord of Apocalypse and Army Corps of Hell are to be playable on the PSP and/or the PlayStation Vita respectively and the nice part is that they will be in stores in December of this year as an Action RPG games. As for Emperor Saga (Not the Historical-Reality Person), this RPG is to be released sometime in the fall and is more likely to be played online.

For tempo fights, islands, and to travel and rule the worlds, these three games will be able to satisfy your alternate needs.

It is a given fact that FFXIII-2 will be release in Japan in December 15, 2011
while North America and Europe will receive the product in January 2012
solely for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. However, this little finding from
Square Enix will blow your mind! The next additional gift about FFXIII-2
is that the company will be releasing download contents after the game is launch.
It is still in development the main attention-grabber that will attract many game system wielders is the Lightning Edition PS3 2.0;
it is a special limited quality, meaning that many fans of Final Fantasy would
be sure to grab this set. You do not want to miss out!

Also, the official site of FFXIII-2has been opened to the public but there is also a new,
mysterious element that is named “FFXIII: Lost Report”.
This element tells the whole story of FFXIII in order from a fighter’s point of view.
To add some more excitement, Toshiba LCD have made a deal in creating a joint creation
and expansion to create some more variety. There will be more on this in the future.
