PS2 Remake??

Hey everyone, i had just recently searched up Final Fantasy VIII only to find the ballroom dance scene with Squall and Rinoa remade in PS2 graphics, i dunno if this is just a rumor but if it's anything like the apparant FFVII Remake for the PS3 i would be happy to buy them both if the rumors turn up to be true

Nah. They're making a remake of FVII for the PSP, I believe.

I would honestly love to see that. But as said, if there's going to be any ps1 remakes, it'll be for the PS3 or PSP

the new game is not a remake
its coming out this month so info on it is easy to find
it pretty much follows events before FFVII
you play primarily as that dark haired dude Cloud got the buster from
his name escapes me now
but yea its on the psp
and it isnt a remake

I hope that the VIII remake rumor is false. I'm against remaking any of the games VII and on. I don't think they've been around long enough, remaking will either add nothing worth the money except prettier graphics or just f*** up the story, and it takes time away from the release of new FFs.

I was perfectly satisfied with VIII- I don't wanna see it get screwed up.

The only game I wanna see a next-gen remake of is VII. But that's all I can stand, and not even that's gonna happen.
