^_^ YES! I do have an amazing fact! What is it you say? Well, remember that they said that once you hit Ultimecia's castle, there is no way to get back to Squall's time? Actually, that part there is a big old lie. THERE IS A WAY TO GET BACK TO SQUALL'S TIME! Remember that big chain that leads you up to Ultimecia's Castle's entrance? On the left side, you should see three weird looking portals. All you have to do is jump from the chain to the portal & go in. There, you will be able to go in & finally be able to go from the future back to the present! Sadly, only one of these portals will allow you to have full access to the whole world & that's the last portal. By using that portal, try to find a forest. That forest there is the chocobo's holy forest. Take the chocobo & start using it to walk on the water. You won't be able to walk on the whole water, but there is a trick. The water looks very strange when it's lighter. Take that chocobo all the way to the Ragnarok ship that's near the spot where you fight the Jumbo Cactuar & you will see Xuan & the CC Card Group on the ship. Sadly, you won't be able to go into the towns because there's a big blue field that surrounds it because Time Compression has just started. There's also a portal that's near the Ragnarok ship & if you go through it, it'll take you back to Ultimecia's place & you will end up with 4 portals that will enable you to go back & forth between future & present. ^_^ Also, there's a man on the ship that started a shop, but he will only be there if you played your cards right at Galbadia's jailcenter for super criminals.

Edit: There is also one other thing. Please be careful if you decided to fight a lot in order to level up your G.F.'s. Malboros pops up more often now & the monsters themselves seems to get a little bit more stronger. This is also a good chance for you to play Triple Triad against the CC group & get amazing cards for you to turn into items, especially the Chubby Chocobo card.

You don't go back to Squall's time. You stay in the time compressed world. That's why the Ragnarok is found in the desert.

??? Did you tried it out though Desert? I don't even know. When I first realized that I can go back, I had a lot of theories in my mind:

1. I went back to Squall's time, but since Time Compression was starting, all the towns was blocked off.
2. Ultimecia put up those shields around the town so she can compress them.
3. Squall is actually in the future part of the land, but the Ragnarok fell into the rift when Time Compression first started.

I had more, but when I checked out the places near Esthar, I saw that Lunatic Pandora is not there anymore, but stronger monsters are still in the lands around Esthar. Did Lunatic Pandora ended up becoming a part of Ultimecia's castle or did it ended up getting destroyed? I don't know which is which. I don't even see Balamb Garden on the map anymore.

Yes. I've done it. I've read about it.

What happens is that time compression starts, so all the playing part of disc 4 (Except the beginning obviously) is in compressed time. Past, present, and future are all together. That explains why you can't visit the towns (In reality, disc 4 didn't have enough space in it to include the towns). It is also why you can't find the garden, Lunatic Pandora, and why the Ragnarok is in the desert.

Once you go to Ultimecia's time, you don't get out until you beat Ultimecia.

XD Well, there's one thing that I'm glad about. When Rinoa was in the ship, she said that it doesn't matter that they defeat Ultimecia, because it won't stop her from being born & that Rinoa's sorceress powers will soon reach to Ultimecia.

Edit: DX Sadly, I wasn't able ot go to Edea's House. Also, this gives FFVIII players who loves to turn cards into items a lot of time of battle the CC group. Also, by turning the Chubby Chocobo card into 100 LuvLuv's, it can be used to raise G.F's compatibility. A lot useful if you asked me.
