SummonerBWM'S GAME Expertise: FFXII

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE NO GAME ADVICE AND EXPERTISE TO BEGINNERS ON ANY VIDEO GAME OR ON SECRETS OF KINGDOM HEART GAMES ON THIS SITE!! Well I'll be the first one to start it off!!! Anyways, to make long story short, SummonerBWM'S Game Expertise threads are just there to give you knowledge on what I know and are sure to give you help on any trouble that you may come across in any game from leveling to getting items to kicking butt.

To start us off, I will be talking about Reks. In the Nalbina Fortress during the event where you are to save King Raminas, you will fight against three Imperial Soldiars by yourself while Basch and the other run on ahead. After you defeat them, you can just turn back downstairs. There, you can fight a lot of imperial soldiers, grab some gil and gain some items. The saddest part is this: Reks will die anyways and the gil and items you obtained will be lost forever. It's as if you never went to get them in the first place. This is more like practice to those who are new to the game really.

Moved to the FFXII section. Also, THERE'S NO NEED TO SHOUT!!!

If you lose all of the gil and items, why would you bother backtracking to keep fighting soldiers? Yes, I know you say it's for practice, but I remember fighting enough soldiers to get the hang of the game by just going where I'm supposed to go.

Being that Reks dies within in the first 10 minutes of gameplay,it isnt much of spoiler.While the example Im giving is bigger,its like saying that you need to use spoiler tags for Aeris's death in FF VII.No point really.

Plus the game's been out for 4 years now, and Reks is hardly a major character.

Before I go on and give you great walkthroughs in this game, let me tell you a little thing about stealing. You sure can't steal in real life but you can enjoy yourself stealing in Ivalice with little consequences. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR STEALING!! Are you sure? Stealing does not always come from loot. If you just steal from people and monsters often, you may end up finding yourself with a rare piece of equipment or armor which you usually end up having to buy from either Archades or Balfonheim. Not only that, stealing can also end up putting a lot of gil in your pocket for you to end up buying great bazaars so think about it before you think that it's just a waste. It will pay off later on afterwards. Try stealing from Silicon Tortoises during the first time in the Rains and you'll see what I mean.
