NPC's of Final Fantasy

We don't always be thinking about the playable characters. The npc's are just as important as the main characters. Out of all of the Final Fantasy games, who are your favorite npc's?

[Kitty]

Shera from FFVII is one of mine. I find her backstory and relationship with Cid interesting. But then, like her, I seem to like the jerks. XD

I also have a soft spot for Reeve, also from VII. He just seemed like a cool guy. And while I suppose he's technically a party member, as the controller of Cait Sith, eh, he still counts here.

Ellone from VIII is another character I find interesting. I wish the story would have gone into more detail about her weird power.

General Leo, FFVI. I can't remember if he joins the party briefly or not, but if so, it's for such a short time that it doesn't really count. He was another cool character.

Lady Belgemine is a good npc. Wish that she was a playable character. As for Dona in FFX, she's just mean but she is a perfect rival for Yuna. I think she was playable in the International version of FFX-2. Tifa's master is mysterious. He saved Tifa and Cloud from the burning in Nibelhiem and just disappeared just like that.

Beatrix from IX is another character I've always liked. You do control her briefly, but I still think she falls into this category well enough. I liked that she was a tough, capable chick.

Regent Cid (IX again) is one of my favorite Cids, and just a likeable character.

I'm also fond of Reddas (XII), though like Beatrix he briefly joins the party. He was badass- I loved him. I wish he could have stayed and joined the party permanently. We could have left Vaan behind in a mine somewhere, and Reddas could've taken his place.

Jecht (X). He's a jerk with a heart of gold. Despite Tidus' daddy issues, I found a lot to like about Jecht. One of my favorite characters from the game.

O'aka XXIII (X). I don't know what it was about this guy- maybe just the fact that he was so blatant about ripping people off and seemed to love every minute of it. Or that he stuck around to help Yuna despite the risks. Eh, whatever the reason, this guy rocks.

Larsa (XII) for one major reasons. HE HAD UNLIMITED HI-POTIONS! So damn useful. .

I really need to play more FF.

But I did find the Man and Viera sidequest NPCs to be quite entertaining.

Good point. I liked Larsa as well. When I saw images of him before XII's release, I thought he looked like he'd be some whiny, annoying kid, but he was a nice addition to the game. And he was tons useful in battle, not only because he could heal so well.

XD I thought that Larsa was a girl at first based on the voice and the name but then when Vayne said brother, I was laughing to myself. At least that Larsa is a great party guest, especially if you is around level 30 before going to the Jahara village for the very first time.
