It seems that whenever I come up with any form of defense for him/her, I always get nasty responses questioning my intellegence.

Well, for one, they love to insult the people that liked her. If you come up with a legitimate defense, they'll tell you that "you're wrong," and that you're not allowed to have a positive opinion on the character.

Why aren't you bringing this up to those Xion haters? No one in this thread here has even given an opinion on her, so I'm still not sure why you made a thread here to complain about ill treatment that hasn't even occurred on this forum.

If you'd like to state your actual opinion on Xion and say why you like her, do so, and we will state our opinions on her and reply to your comments with respect. If you just want to gripe and complain about haters (who exist everywhere), I see no legitimate reason to keep this thread open.
