Well, here is another theory about mx, Just thought about it like now and will actually be making it up as I go , Maybe MX experimented on his Apprentice, and his Apprentice is now Dark Soilder we saw in the trailer, but this is actually Unconfirmed. Any whom, It could be that MX experimented on his Apprentice and the Apprentice turned into Dark Soldier, this wasn't really MX's intention, His true intentions were to get his Apprentice to pass between the wall of darkness and light as he is trying to get Terra to do. MX may have fused to much darkness to his Apprentice, causing him to be the failure.

Now when MX meets Terra and Ven he sees something in them, that he needs to complete his Apprentice.
from Ven, he needs something that he "lost, but can be retrieve" what that is idk, his heart, memories, soul? who knows, whatever it is he fails to get it from Ven. This is when Ven gets erased, and some how ends up within Sora

From Terra, after ven is erased or before, he trys to persuade Terra to pass between the wall of darkness and light. Terra, then does this, somehow, Falls into MX's trap, MX then fuses Terra with Dark Soldier, but his experiment is still incomplete and failed, he is still missing the thing he needed from Ven. This becomes a problem, he then trys to retrieve that from Aqua, but fails, then locking her inside of her Armour FOR Eternity!!(haha just threw that part in). Anyway, Aqua didn't have the nessicary requirments, so basically He then fuses himself with Terra Dark Soldier guy, and THUS XEHANORT HIS BORN!!

XEHANORT THEN BECOMES AtW aprentice blah blah blah blah

like i said this is just basically a rough draft, but i jsut had to get it outta my head, please try to find as many holes as possible in this, :/ i found many, and i tried my best to fill them

well, it's different, but i don't like the aqua part, cause her armor was broke at the end of the trailer, and that trailer was mostly the end so i don't think that makes sense. how does one fuse two people though? you didn't explain that, maybe take the darkness out of terra or something but fuse them? how would that work, we know that they do fuse but how, me i think DS was an experiment and then MX wanted more people to use so he went for ven first, then terra. when he went for terra aqua and ven and terra combined there power fusing terra and MX and vens soul left him and went inside sora. DS was killed or destroyed in the process. (just made it up.)

3) In Kh2Fm, Xemnas talks to what looks like Aquas armor, and then the Armor reacts....um duh?

Um actually, IF you did play KH1, You See that basically Xehanort's Heartless *Ansem From KH1* did Fuse/take over Riku's body. Since Xehanort has that power, and we have seen it before, thats why i said fuse, but we don't exactly know how that happens, we know that Riku submitted to darkness, just before it though.

So maybe Terra submitted, to the wall between light and dark, like MX wanted to, i thought that was pretty simple and everyone can figure out, but in the words of DW "Answer Man has more questions that answers

basically you said my theory, but watered down:

1) MX said he failed, so why would he want more failed experiments..
2) im pretty sure he didn't combine aqua
3) Im sure Ven's heart/soul/memories went to sora, one or maybe all

The Aqua part was brung up on KHI & I've brought this up a couple of times, especially when they was wondering about what happened after Maleficent's battle with her. Aqua's spirit most likely was sealed in her own armor. Remember that Xigbar said that someone talked to Xemnas back after Xemnas said "It's been a long time... friend."

Also, if Ven's heart, memory, & soul went into Sora, shouldn't Sora & Roxas remember Ven's memories too?

i dont like it, and answer man is just a name! ansem went into riku but didn't fuse, he gave him power, used him like a shell. what happened to MX and terra is different, they became a complete different person, and forgot everything.

Um, really they didn't fuse? Riku and Ansem's voice came out of his mouth at the same time. Thats pretty much a fusion sterotype. Also fuse isn't impossible, MX infused his apprentice with darkness. So if you have no other reason to shoot down a fusion possibility, other than I DON"T LIKE IT, stfu =)

Also, We don't know what happend to MX and Terra now do we? So how do you know its different? You don't Mr. Question Man. Also, who said they became a completely different' person? I said they became Xehanort, not a new person, Xehanort could be the fusion result of MX + Terra + DS, making Xehanort, a un failed experiment. Or it could just be Terra and Ds, and MX named his ultimate creation after himself? Plus on top of that i never said they forgot everything. You must forget we have no idea who XEHANORT is at all, so we don't know what he knows, he could be like i said a fusion of MX, Terra, DS, the reason he fused with them, was because MX himself was getting old, he needed a new body, therefore he tries to take over his Apprentices, that fails, so he tries to get Terra to cross over to the wall betwen darkness and light, so he can take over Terra's body and continue his study on hearts. Dam does that sound familiar!?!!?!?, Did the heartless version(or non heartless version) of Xehanort did the same thing to Riku, take over ones body, god dammit i think he did!

Here's how it really turns out:

TAV are fighting MX and his apprentence. Then, as they're fighting, there is a sudden atomic explosion, killing them all except Terra and Aqua. Aqua is about to die, so she seals herself in her armor. The souls of MX and his apprentence go into Terra, forming Young Xehanort. And Ven's soul goes into Sora.
