The rifts are beginning to merge between the digital world and the real world. People have been using the internet in incredible sizes and this overload has made the digiworld become larger and it is now trying to expand to our world. Recently, digimon have been appearing throughout Earth, causing havoc but the governments have successfully been able to keep it secret. Now, the Olympics, the event, all the media is taking focus on, is taking place in Vancouver, Canada. Prime Minister Harper, the leader of Canada is worried for a potential threat. The British forces were able to defeat a wolf like digimon, the size of a house (Garurumon) with missles but Harper is worried for a stronger being and public safety. Would they be able to keep this a secret for any longer and if a stronger being comes into play, would something or someone be able to defeat it. People from across the world come over to Vancouver to witness the Olympics...with their cameras.

Meanwhile, in the digiworld, an evil group has been formed called the Shroud have been terrorizing the world and have a majority of the world's land in their control. Toytown has been destroyed and instead have placed screens showing viral videos from the other world (youtube) so they can find out more about Earth. The Shroud has many agents and these agents look after the lands they have been assigned. Once these agents are defeated, the area returns to it's prior state.

A boy was walking around the streets of Vancouver, a city by the shore and was known for it's pleasant views. He looked out to the ocean and the sunset sun beat down onto the water. It was relaxing to him and as he looked sideways to an empty bench, he pictured himself with a girl. He had his arms around her. He shook off this thought, smiling.
"How the hell would you be able to get a girlfriend, Hiro? I'm so small compared to the other guys. I'm not bothered now anyway" he said aloud. An old lady gave him a stare, which gave vibes to Hiro of her saying, "Why are you talking to yourself, you mad boy?"
He turned away from the water and walked down a busy street. It was starting to turn dusk and this resembled one thing to Hiro's mind; the Olympic flame lighting up the dark sky. Hiro was starting to get excited about the games. He always wanted to see the opening ceremony and thought Beijing's, in the Summer Olympic Games in 2008 was spectacular. Ofcourse though, he watched that on the television. Ever since then, he always wanted to watch an opening ceremony.

"So this is Vancouver?" Ren said as he walked down a street with his parents. He didn't want to come to Canada or the Olympics as he didn't like the cold and didn't care for sports. Still, he acted like he was excited for his parents because they thought he would like it. It showed just how distant from them he was. He looked around noting many different shops and places, but all had Olympic posters in their windows. Some of the trees were decorated even. No matter where you looked, it was impossible to find a spot that didn't have an Olympic sign somewhere. Finally he sighed and asked his parents for some money. They asked why and he replied, "I'm hungry. I'm gonna try to find a Taco Bell around here."

[Ventus]

Hiro walked down the streets and many people were scurrying across the city to get to the stadium, where the flame was going to be lit. It's two hours and everyone's crazy...geez, thought the Vancouver boy. There was one thing he hated about Vancouver; the busy streets and roads. He felt claustrophobic and the mutters of the crowd around him muffled over the car sirens. Suddenly someone pushed him over to the right and he fell over someone. A boy with long hair. Hiro backed off and stood over him, putting his hand out so he can stand. Everyone walked around them to avoid more tripping over.
"Sorry, are you okay?"

Ren stumbled as the kid bumped into him. "Watch it." He said as the kid fell over. Ren stopped for a moment to look the kid over. He didn't look anything special to him, then again nobody did. When the kid got up and asked how he was, Ren just scoffed. "I'm fine.You should watch where you're going."

[Ventus]

Hiro looked down and noticed that his laces were undone. He sighed.
"I apologize. I'm an idiot"
He helped him up and looked at the massive crowd of people.
"Are you seeing the Olympics later?" Hiro asked, noticing the American accent, he had.

[Desert Warrior]

Tom woke up in his hotel room, the sunlight shining through the curtains. He mumbled as he turned around, his back to the window. "And why did they take the room with the window to the east?" He muttered to himself. Tom sat up, yawning. "Hate time zone shifts. And jetlag. Let's hurry up the Olympics, shall we?" Tom took a shower, got dressed, all before his parents were ready. "Can we please go? After all, you wouldn't want to be late for your own son's chance at winning the gold, would you?"

"Yeah, cause my parents are forcing me." He could easily tell this kid was a local. Ren didn't care though. All he wanted right now was some food, and he had gotten some money from his parents shortly before the kid bumped into him. "Say... kid, do you know where a Taco Bell is? I'm hungry."

"GOO KITTEY!!!" Kittey started to move to the rhythm on the new version of Dance Dance Revolution: XTREME and was gaining in a lot of points. She started to do the perculator on the machine, making her opponent start to tremble and start messing up. She didn't give up dancing and started to get groovy. She started to do a spin here and there while her mother was smiling, seeing that her own daughter is enjoying herself with the rest of the kids. She started to kick her legs up and the arrows started to fall down real fast. Before you knew it, she started to make up her own dance and sparks started to fly. "ONE TWO STEP!! MOVE IT! MOVE IT!! TAP IT TAP! GROOVAY GROOVAY!!" She then won the dance and a first place medal, smiling as she came down from the machine. As she looked up, she saw a shooting star flying in the sky but was distracted as she saw her mother and two of her friends running towards her. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! I DID IT!!!" "COME ON!! They are about to light up the torch in thirty minutes!!! WE MUST HURRY!!!" "OK! I'll be right there! Let me hurry and go to the bathroom real quick! THE WORLD IS IN OUR HANDS!!" Kittey then started to run straight to the west, going into the women bathroom...

Hiro stopped to think and was almost pushed over again. He sighed and motioned
"Follow me"
They scrambled across the crowd and eventually saw the purple sign, showing "Taco Bell".
Hiro turned back.
"So, there you go...now, I've gotta head over to the stadium so nice seeing ya"
He sprinted back into the crowd, after shaking his hand.

"Oh gosh, how I just hate crowds...." Kain mumbled by himself while sitting in a bench, his hands spread behind the bench. After a while of just laying around he noticed a kid with short, black hair
who seemed like a local. Thought that he could never known that if he really was a Canadian or not. He stood up and rushed to his side and grabbed him from his shoulder.
