Kingdom Hearts Scans + Birth By Sleep Focus Gauge
It’s Christmas and quite fittingly we have a selection of special scans and some new information about the focus gauge display for the upcoming Sony PSP title, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
As you can see from the scans, the focus gauge looks a lot like the Kingdom Hearts 2 drive gauge and seems to represent a speciality for each of the main characters Terra, Ven, and Aqua.
Once filled it allows the launch of massive attacks and finishing moves for the character in question. Now despite the scans carrying Sora, we have to remember that this is a prequel to the original Kingdom Hearts. So yes it will probably carry the usual mix of Disney characters but the visibility of Sora is probably for cut scenes only.
At this point there’s not much else we can gather but we’ll keep you posted as new information comes in. On a closing note don’t forget to check out the rest of the scans for the other two Kingdom Hearts games, KH 358/2 days and KH Coded (see below).

To where??? In the USA??? That’s what I want to know… I hope there’s going to be all Disney characters… That would be awesome!!! + which one is the real kingdom hearts 3??? Oh my goodness!!! I CAN NOT wait for KH- Birth by Sleep to come out.. hopefully it does come out in the U.S. and has all the original characters (Katrina, I think Roxas is awesome too, but Sora and Riku are BETTER!!) Katrina: from what I understand Coded,358/2, and Birth By Sleep are not KH3. A KH3 has not even been announced. The 3 new games coming out (for PSP,Cellphone,Nintendo DS) are side stories or prequels and such. I guess 358/2 focuses on Roxus and his orginization adventure, I haven’t paid much attention to Coded since it probably won’t be released in the USA, and Birth By Sleep is a 10 prequel to Sora and such. =/ Not sure if all of this is accurate but that is what I am getting out of it.
I’m so happy to find out there are many roxas fans out there.. And kh 358/2 days is coming out real soon!! Can’t wait to see roxas being the main character!! As for bbs, it still have long ways to go.. And what I have is psp.. T.T
There is no such thing as Kingdom Hearts 3. They’ve not decided on the game and wether they are going to make it. A third game is when it continues right after the previous one. Since Birth By Sleep happened ten years before the first game, and 358/2 Days happened during KH: CoM and KH: Re: CoM, none of the games are the third. In America, 358/2 Days comes out September. 29. 2009, and Birth by Sleep comes out in Spring, or Summer, of 2010. Coded has not been announced to come out to America yet, so there is no release for the game.

with all due respect i seriously doubt you and ur bff are the number one kingdom hearts fans, and anyone who can say that is always a bit on the arrogant side. for one there will always be some things you dont know or havent figered out about the games or the storyline, two there is always someone else out there who has more merchandise more games, more pictures on the computer and so on and so forth. take me for example, i have kingdom hearts 1 and 2 final mix and i have kingdom hearts 2 final mix +, i have over 4.5 gig worth of kingdom hearts pics, but i dont call my self the ultimate kingdom hearts fan because there is always tht someone out there that has more and knows more. am i wrong anyone? if anyone would like to (kindly) comment on what i said if they can see any floors?

I’m looking forward to KH3 just like everyone else here, but its going to be quite some time before we see any news of it. Tetsuya Nomura, an important figure in Square’s projects has stated that he’ll be working on FFXIII as his final FF project. And as for KH3, he also stated that he will be putting KH3 on hold until FFXIII is complete. So it could be some time before we see any news on KH3 whatsoever.

KH3 has not been confirmed by Square Enix to be in the making yet. Nomura has only said he wishes to make it soon. Birth By Sleep has not been given a release date to the UK or US yet, but the most current speculation is: sometime in June or August of 2010.
